The Supreme Court has deferred adoption of the Report and Recommendation of the Workgroup on Improved Resolution of Civil Cases. See, Order dated January 12, 2023, Case No.: SC22-122.
The Court has determined that additional refinements to the Workgroup's proposed amendments are required and that phased referrals for refinement of the Workgroup's proposals are necessary. The Court made referrals to the Civil Procedure Rules Committee, the Rules of General Practice and Judicial Administration Committee, the Florida Courts Technology Commission, and the Trial Court Budget Commission. Responses to the referrals are due by July 3, 2023.
