AD Trial Docket

Calendar Call

DIVISION AD has adopted an "e-Calendar Call" format. Counsel and parties do not appear in-person or remotely by zoom for Calendar Call. Counsel/ parties shall confer in advance of their scheduled Calendar Call and submit one complete and joint Calendar Call Form (that shall include mutual availability of all counsel/ parties on at least three weeks during the calendar call/ trial period) to the Court at CAD-DivisionAD@pbcgov.org no later than 4:00 p.m. on the date of their scheduled-Calendar Call.

Trial Docket: January 6, 2025 – February 7, 2025

Cases listed below are associated with the December 20, 2024 Calendar Call with overflow from prior trial docket

If you believe your case requires venire of more than 30 prospective jurors, please set your case for status conference on the Court's Uniform Motion Calendar.

FOR JURY TRIALS: Agreed jury instructions, and a short summary of the case read to the jury, should be submitted to the Court no later than two (2) business days before trial.

Note: The order of the cases listed below is a guide as to when your case may be called by the Judge for trial. Some cases may be marked specifically as #1 or #2 and will proceed accordingly. Regardless of the order, counsel and the parties shall be trial ready during the docket on which the case is set to commence trial, and on the ready to commence trial on 24 hours' notice. These cases may be called for trial on the trial weeks that the case appears on the docket, when a case listed before another case resolves, or when the Court determines otherwise. The Court will expect that the parties are on the ready to commence trial during the docket on which they are assigned and that all parties are in compliance with the Court's trial order setting their case on their assigned trial docket and track.

IF YOUR CASE SETTLES: Counsel and/or pro se litigant/s shall:

  1. notify the judicial assistant immediately; and
  2. send a copy of the Joint Notice of Settlement signed by both counsel and/or pro se litigant/s to CAD-DivisionAD@pbcgov.org with an indication on when counsel and/or pro se litigant/s will file and submit the appropriate dismissal paperwork to the Court for entry. The case will remain "active" on the Court's docket until the final dismissal paperwork is submitted and the case is "closed".
