Supervised Visitation Programs are an essential element of a model family court in Florida. The Florida Supreme Court's Minimum Standards for Supervised Visitation Program Agreements set forth standards for independent programs. The Standards can be found on the Clearinghouse website.
Both Supervised Visits and Supervised Exchanges are designed to assure that a child can have safe contact with an absent parent.
